  • In 2011, he helped distribute 3,500 whole turkeys and Thanksgiving food baskets at FedExField to Prince George’s County residents in need during the team’s annual Harvest Feast.

  • Led the West team in receiving in the U.S. Army All-American Game.
  • In track he won the 110-meter dash as a senior.
  • Led his team to the Class A state track title in 2006 by winning four gold medals. He won Class A titles in the 110- and 300-meter hurdles and was part of all-class gold medal teams in the 4x100 and 4x400-meter relays.
  • In basketball, he was among the Class A leaders and in scoring and rebounding averaging nearly 19 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior.
  • Earned second-team Academic All-Big12 in 2008 and was also on the Big 12 Commissioner’s Spring Academic Honor Role.
