  • As a junior, he led the team with 45 receptions. Also had 801 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
  • During his junior year, he had 645 receiving yards against conference opponents, which was the second most of any ACC receiver.
  • As a sophomore, he played in eight games and had 11 receptions for 140 yards and two touchdowns. In his freshman season, he played seven games making two starts and registering six receptions for 63 yards and one touchdown.

  • In 2011, he helped the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation collect new children’s books for distribution to underprivileged children in the Washington D.C. area.
  • He attended Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, where his position coach was former Minnesota Vikings All-Pro receiver Cris Carter.
  • Was selected the Class 6A-4A Broward County Male Athlete of the Year by the Miami Herald as a senior.
  • Earned All-Broward County honors, and was rated the 33rd best prospect in the state by the St. Petersburg times.
  • Was a member of the 2006 Atlanta Journal Constitution Super Southern 100 squad.
  • Helped Saint Thomas Aquinas to three consecutive Class 5A title games.
  • As a senior, he caught 39 passes for 803 yards and 14 touchdowns.
  • Also lettered in basketball.
  • Trained with former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mark Duper during his offseason in Miami.
  • Participated in the Macy's Back to School Shopping Spree in 2013.
  • Teamed up with the WRCF and FedEx in 2012 to encourage reading among special needs students at the Redskins Read FedEx Special Delivery event.
  • Helped the WRCF and the Rypien Foundation raise moeny for children's charities by participating in the Mickey Steele Golf Tournament.
