  • Started at left guard against Philadelphia and blocked for a rushing attack that had a season-high 169 yards.
  • Started at left guard against Tampa Bay on Dec. 12 and blocked for Ryan Torain to set a career-high 172 yards on 24 carries, including 158 yards in the first half, and 121 in the first quarter.
  • Started at left guard against Dallas on Dec. 19 and protected quarterback Rex Grossman who complete 25-of-43 pases for 322 yards and a career-high four touchdown passes.

 

2009 (Vikings)

  • Received All-MAC honors during each of his four seasons at Bowling Green State.

  • Has been active with the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation, participating in Redskins Youth Fitness Zone at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Loudoun County, the Mickey Steele Memorial Golf Outing, DC101 Chili Cook-Off benefiting the National Kidney Foundation and the Hometown Huddle and Harvest Feast. 
  • Participated in the team's 80th Anniversary Thank You Tour throughout VA, MD and Washington, D.C. in 2012.
  • Volunteered his time to read "A Little Skins Football Story" to the Redskins Kids Club in April 2013.
  • In 2013, participated in the Redskins' Kids Club Reading Combin, helped with the Adopt a Child Shopping Spree and participated in Cakes Against Cancer in INOVA hospital, which provides cakes to children undergoing treatment for cancer.
  • Named All-Northwest Conference Lineman of the Year as well as an all-state selection during his junior and senior  seasons at Crestview High School in Convoy, Ohio.
  • First-team all-conference pick as an offensive and defensive lineman at Crestview.
