Over his career he completed 198-of-366 passes (.541), for 3,204 yards, 40 touchdowns and 18 interceptions.
Rated a three-star prospect and Michigan’s 27^th-best overall prospect by Rivals.com.
As a senior in 2006, he was an All-State and Academic All-State honorable mention choice by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association. He set 35 school game, season, and career records and garnered Area Player of the year accolades.
During his senior season he completed 130-of-231 passes (.563) for 2,088 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, leading his team to a program best 7-3 record while qualifying for the playoffs for the first time in school history.
