  • As a senior, he was named first-team All-ACC and played in the Senior Bowl.
  • He started all 12 games his senior season, and had 53 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, one sack, 16 quarterback pressures and two blocked kicks. His nine tackles for a loss was ranked third on the team.
  • As a junior he led Clemson’s interior lineman with 69 tackles, was second on the team with 11 tackles for a loss and at least three tackles in 13 of the 14 games.
  • Earned All-ACC honorable mention.
  • Had his best game against Maryland where he had nine tackles, three for a loss, one sack and earned Clemson’s defensive-player-of-the-week.
  • As a sophomore started 12 of 13 games, and recorded 36 tackles and 10 for a loss, which led the team.
  • In his freshman year, he appeared in 10 games, and registered eight tackles and a sack in his first career game (vs. Florida State).

  • Rated as the 27th defensive tackles in the nation, and number player in South Carolina by Rivals.com and was a member of the Rivals 250.
  • Was an All-American by PrepStar as a senior where he 79 tackles and four blocked kicks.
  • Named the South Carolina Coaches Association Upperstate AAA Lineman-of-the-Year, Daily Journal/Messenger Player-of-the-Year and AP All-State.
  • Led an excercise station at a WRCF Play 60 mini-combine in 2012.
  • He was also a two-time all-region pick in basketball, and all-region in the shot put and discus.
