-- A former NFL head coach and defensive coordinator, Wade Phillips was at Redskins OTAs yesterday to watch his son Wes, tight ends coach, for "Sons Bring Their Dads to Work Day."

-- Redskins legend Sean Taylor had a large impact on many youngsters during the mid-2000's. Of them was Keith Reaser, Tayor's younger cousin and current San Francisco 49ers rookie.

-- Highlights from the inaugural Burgundy and Gold charity footballl game featuring Redskins Cheerleaders and guest coaches tight end Niles Paul and fullback Darrel Young. Proceeds from the game will go towards the Global Down Syndrome Foundation.

-- While Hall of Fame coach Joe Gibbs has been to Charlotte Motor Speedway before, he never experienced going out on the track in an RV -- until now. In a recent episode of "Riggo on the Range," John Riggins took his former coach on quite the ride.

-- Wide receiver Pierre Garçon set the franchise's record for individual catches in a single season in 2014, but he's ready for more this season from his teammates and himself. He told ESPN980 that everyone is "giving 110 percent" for a great season.

-- CSN Washington's Rich Tandler on five matchups that quarterback Robert Griffin III can take advantage of this season.

-- Visiting the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center for the first time last Friday, head coach Jay Gruden is looking forward to the impact the fan base will have on the team's motivation level.

-- ESPN's John Keim on the possibilities of several players taking over a more vocal leadership role with London Fletcher no longer playing.

-- Wide receiver Santana Moss is ready to prove himself once again this season and said that he's enjoying the role of mentor.
